The project “From Here to There” is a speculative design project which describes my mother reconciling the detachment between my father’s death and her memory. After my father died, my mother went back to the spot where they took photos twenty years ago, and took a new photo alone there. She folded up space and created a channel between reality and memory. I constructed the channel into a physical form, making it able to be re-experienced endlessly to reconcile with death.
